Talis enters the Inn of the Comfortable Saddle.

"Is Mr. Gieger in?", Talis asks the Barmaid.

"Timon, someone is here to see you", she calls.

"Talis! How are you?", Timon the manager of the adventure society asks.

"I'm good, but business, not so good. That's why I'm here", Talis answers with a concerned look.

Timon pours a glass of Conkara Red for the both of them. "So what seems to be the matter?"

"Well you know about the pirate attacks at sea, so I have had to resort to travel by road to our shop in Sandow. I've lost 4 shipments of arms and armor and a half dozen good men. They never made it to Sandow.", says Talis.

Timon sips his wine as he already knows what the request will be. He smiles and they continue talking. Shortly after, Timon is around Tanamerah posting signs on the local board.

"Looking for Adventure? Fame? Fortune? Inquire about the Adventure Society at the Inn of the Comfortable Saddle and Casino ... Timon Gieger, General Manager"

Timon Geiger, the manager of the Adventure Society, sips a glass of Cronkara Red at the Inn of the Comfortable Saddle. Aralyn Blake, Pyenapil, Neurion Mel'fer, Hanna Duskwood, Elvithrar Yanolen all begin to stroll in after reading the flyers around town. They are all greated and told of the task at hand. Escorting a shipment of goods, how bad could that be?

Aralyn, "I'm sure that is what the last escorts said".

Cardonald, the general supplier, will meet them with the shipment for Warry Reynolds in South Tanamerah. The group moves out after purchasing supplies and meet with Cardonald. Two Pack Oxen, stocked with arms and armor destined for the South Seas Trading Company. Hanna, having respect for all of Gia's creatures, takes charge of the beasts, Neurion takes the lead, as they head out the East Road. Forest Giants and boar, pose no problem, though 3 of the group fall due to a Giant Spider. A small band of Goblins are crossed, not too much of a concern until the group studies their weaponary. South Seas arms and armor, they have a pretty good idea of what happened to the previous shipments meant for Sandow. Though the disturbing part is the orcish swords that are found.

A larger group of goblins lay in wait for the travelers, like they were expecting a shipment, but luckily these hired hands of the Adventure Society meet along the road, Dan Delight and Kendra Bard. With the help of these new allies, the shipment makes it way to Sandow. Warry is greatful and pays Hanna for the shipment . The group mentions of the Goblins, as they unload the spoils they found on the way. Warry mentions of the goblins who live in the Duskwood Marshes, this piques Neurion's interest. Pyenapil, Aralyn, and Elvithrar part company, while the rest go get a room at the Inn.

Neurion speaks to Hanna, Dan and Kendra over dinner at the Inn about looking into the goblins, to see if they can find further information about the missing shipments or South Seas workers. They agree, though after a good night's rest.

During breakfast the next morning, they are joined by Neuiron's friend, Mckayla Dover, a fierce halfling, with a hate of goblins and giants. Off to the marshes they journey. To much of their surprise, not only do they run into goblins but also Saladri, the lizard folk of the Long River. Once they have been dealt with, they debate about entering a cave in the marshes, it stinks of goblin, though it appears to also have orc foot prints as well. Mckayla bids farewell as the others enter the cave.

Goblin after goblin fall. Neurion halts the group as they hear voices echo down the cave. A goblin chief and orc captain discuss some kind of allegience between themselves and the lizardfolk of the Long River. This is not good news. It is not long before the Orc picks up the scent of the adventurers and a fight begins. Fate is on the side of the adventurers as the foes fall. As the group searches the cave, they find the missing shipments and the bodies of the South Seas workers, badly tortured and abused, dead. Dan, Hanna and Kendra gather the supplies and Neurion the bodies, to bring to Sandow.

It is a grave trip back to Sandow, uneventful other then some will-o-wisps and boar. Neurion brings the dead to the temple in Sandow, the missing shipments to the trading company. The company departs, one mystery solved, another unfolds.
