Well I got the answer to that question! I was roaming the plains, fighting fire ants when Veran emerged from the mound, shortly followed by a man and a women I have never seen before and Justin. The man's name was Abdul and he seemed to be the companion of this Marsri person. He was very very protective of her. We discussed some happenings with the Orcs and then moved on to Ninago. Abdul was telling a story of the orcs down along the Long River, terrorizing the Lizardmen; he said they were driven back but for how long? Justin mentioned of Danuthal, a dark studier of the arcane. He was described as a man in black who was a bit weird. I swear that sounds like Richard to me. *chuckles to self* If not then they were meant for each other. Anyway this Danuthal is leading a liberation group to drive the orc out of what was at one time called Num For. I pledge my sword to his cause. Though my reasons are personal, I could care less otherwise. Well we messed with the orcs out side of the city, and then Justin lead us to a beautiful place. It is the home to the elf maiden Radia. She lives in the tower, some say, taking care of a friend from old who is sick. There is a nice swimming hole and guest house that she has in her valley. I wonder if Calandra has ever been there? *stares off and then dozes with a smile*

I just got back from doing some work for Alina in the Market and trading in some other bounties when I ran into Justin and Marigold at the food vendor. Marigold sounded like she had some concerns over Core but it did not sound to serious. I then caught a glimpse of Briana at the fountain, so I decided to stop over and say hi. Linariel was there, very knightly looking, cordial as always, it was good to see him again. They were discussing the orcs in the forest with their friend Vifur and another one of his kinsmen. They invited me along to go deep into the forest and to bother the orcs in their caves. I said sure, and asked if Justin could come along, the group agreed yes. I found Justin in the Trading Company trying to sell some things to their buyer agent, and asked him if he wanted to come along, and of course he said yes. So we made our way to the forests. The orcs did not stand a chance. The ones in the cave fell at the power of the group, most of the time I just stood their in awe watching the raw power of Briana, Vifur and Linariel. We made it to their mines and tried to mine some of their special ore, but the vein was dry. It was not a complete loss though, Linariel provided me with a suit of arms that he no longer needed, he called it battle plate and an amulet he no longer had use for. After a rest, Justin, Vifur and myself went back to the forest to beat up on some more orcs, we then as a group took on the Mub Kazon, not much effort their neither! Though it was a victorius day I had an eerie feeling. This all seemed too easy. It was like the Orcs were just trying to build some strategy against us. I have a feeling that this was not a victory, all we did was anger the orcs even more.

Out for a little hunt today, actually more like a killing spree. I ran into Justin on my way out to terrorize some orcs. He decided to join me, which is good, safety in numbers you know. So we went through the forest, slaying any orc we found. We then entered deep within the wood; we cleared all that we could find. Then down into the cave. Well this is where things got a bit hectic; there were many many many orcs down there, some of which were way stronger then those above ground. We will doing well, a few near death experiences, but we pulled through, then ... all of a sudden one came out of nowhere, and startled me and a tripped over a rock. It all went black ... next thing I recall was a faint image of Justin standing over me. He said the cave was clear now ... so we decided not to press on, Linariel, Vifur and Brina made things look all too easy down here. So back to the surface we went. The we went on South towards Ninago, took care of some giants who were trying to keep us from getting there. Then we ran into some fire ants, which we defeated the hive with much ease, though I'm sure more will be back. We parted ways shortly after and I went to Ninago to camp and rest. I came upon a wizard by the name of Laroth I think it was, he offered to sell me some wands, so I purchased a couple stone skin and an invisibility wand. This newly acquired friend joined me for a quick hunt through the Hills to hunt some giants. We then returned to Ninago again, where I stayed the night by the fire and he went to Tanamerah.

I was just finished going for a swim when Core showed up at the camp in Ninago. I offered him some nice roasted bear that was slow roasting for half a day now. It just before dawn and I was hoping to find some Orcs and Giants. After small talk with Core, some thing about his under garments itching him, he decided to join me for a hunt. We searched the North East Hills and did not fine any signs of life, such a shame. We then went through the forest, hoping to find a manticore or some orcs. None. Either they were all sleeping somewhere or a hunting party was just through there. So we were courageous and decided to enter the deep woods. I told Core to stay put and I would scope it out. I shot one arrow and the orcs came running and chased me as I made my way back to where Core was. They were slain. Then Core went into the Deep Wood, we were ambushed. 3 on 1, but at least they were distracted with Core that they did not see me sneak up on them and get them. Well, that pretty much summed it up. With the help of Sahrina and Adrianna we made the forest safe for the time being. Core and I need to work out our tactic when fighting together, it is a bit too chaotic. Adrianna on the other hand, we seem to do alright together, not as well as Calandra and I but pretty close. Maybe I need to spend some time out East and see if I can find her. Maybe I need to find that Hano person and see if he has seen her as of late. Well, time to hammer out some dents in the armor and give it a polish.

I have been out exploring with Jerner. He has been in a most aggressive mood lately, its been odd, almost like he is a different person. We went to the goblin marshes and he practiced some with his newly given powers. I found myself face down in the dirt, after trying to make our way to the vein of ore that is in their cave. After he brought me back from the dead, we went a head and hunted some boar. Jerner needed these to make scrolls out of their hides. However that works is beyond me. He made me a few scrolls and then he traded some for some arcanlite. I look forward to traveling with Jerner again, hope he sticks around.

It's been a long time since I have kept my feet dry after enlisting with the South Sea's Trading Company. Going from port to port providing protection from pirates and thieves have made me quite tired of the sea. After returning and handing in my resignation, I stopped in Ninago for a bit to say hello to my old friend Santo. Those people are so friendly and welcoming, I miss my days there. Of course as soon as I arrived I was reminded of days swimming and talking with Marigold. It has been such a long time since I've seen her or Core. I hope things go well for the both of them. They do make a great couple. That makes me wonder of how Calandra has been. It has been years since I have seen her. Ever since she had the calling to leave the city, I have not seen nor heard of anything of her. I would ask her father, but I know how he looks down upon those of a non noble stature. Anyway, while speaking with Santo, he mentioned about raids from some goblins that have been happening as of late and if I would help dispose of this menace. I could not say no, those people have been very good to me over the years. So I was off to Tanamerah. I posted a flyer in the city square looking to hire some adventurers.

After a few pints, the first two showed. Standero, a great healer and Klaus a powerful mage. They seemed nice enough, but I do no trust them fully. Every now and then they conversed using nods and gestures that I grew up around. The thieves of Western Tanamerah used this same type of conversing when they would pull scams or setup the innocent passerby. Regardless, I needed their help. Standero seemed to know a lot of these goblins, having been there before. He said their numbers were great and much stronger then their lesser cousins in the marshes. So we waited and hoped for others to answer my call.

It wasn't long before our numbers increased. Beau Bard and Dina Delight, a couple, at least that is how they came off with the way the kept actting. She was a fiesty fighter were he was a story tellar and singer. The last to fill out our ranks was an old friend from my side of town, Alrik. Nice fella, always helpful. It was nice to see him again.

So we setoff to the lands north of the hills in the plains and found the goblins. We made our way through them, a strong group we were. Though we were surprised to see not only goblins, but Saladri amoung them. This is a concern, as if the Saladri are forming an alliance with the goblins, I fear that Ninago may be in great danger. Anyway, they were taken care of rather easily, even their warmasters. A lot of help came from one of the summoned creatures that either Standero or Klaus called forth. Which too, was a concern. They called upon a Demon Beast of true evil. Only one who is evil themselves could call upon a such dark creature to fight for them. Regardless, it was a help, but concerns me that there was one, at least one, amoung us who outlook was so selfish and enjoys bringing harm to others. I wonder what gain they got from this, what was their alterior motive?

We returned to Ninago and Santos gave his thanks on behalf of the town and then provided us with some rare coins, which I have came by a few times in the past but have not seen one in a long time. I think I will continue to patrol that area to see what else is stirring.

Sitting by the fire at the Inn in Saban drinking his Pilsner Justan pulls out a little notebook

What a tiring few days. I was on my way to Port Smith, actually to the mine camp road to find some Ebon Wood for Santos when I ran into Tallman or something like that, the "Lord Knight" of Saban. Something just doesn't seem right in that town but oh well, the pay is good. He suckered me into taking care of a pack of dire wolves for him. Then he asked about taking care of some Giants that have been terrorizing the Keep. That task was a bit more fun, if you catch my drift. As I was wailing upon the inhabitants of the Yotan, I hear a familar laugh. It was my old friend Oberon. I have not seen him in, I dont know, years I guess, seems like a life time. His skills have increased since last time we ran into battle, not to mention he has a mighty fine blade, little to big for my tastes but still, he slices and dices. So we cleared out the Yotan for this Lord Knight and then, he asked us to go take care of some Umberhulk in the old caves by the shore. Well, Obi and I went on that one and I tell ya, I thought it would never end. I got so confused, I think we killed each other at least once and cant count how many times we got turned around. Well after a day it seemed, we made our way back to Saban and of course, Lord Knight Tallman *chuckles to himself*, had yet another task for me, to go take care of some bandits. I'm not looking forward to that task, not at all. So me an Obi decided to take a break and go grab a few pints and some grub at the Inn. Obi was then off, hope our paths cross again soon. Now I'm here just jotting down my thoughts by the fire and not liking the way that sailor with the blue neckerchief is looking at me, though her on the other hand *smiles, and puts his book in his coat pocket and raises his voice with a smile* Aye wench, another pint please.

*at the camp in Ninago*

Well we, Jerner and Mckayla and myself, just returned from slaying the Spider Queen. Jerner's prayers are more powerful then the last time I have met him. I guess he is seeing this new woman friend Cola, who I have not met yet. Another surprise to me always, is Mckayla Dover. It is just amazing how powerful that little girl is in battle. She has some thirst for blood! Well it looks like Jerner is ready to head out to find this grain that the giants have stolen from the poor people of Ninago. I say we head out at first light, but Jerner says we should go now under the cover of night. He is wise, hope he is not fool-hearty though.

*looks up at Jerner* Yes friend, I'm ready to go.

Well Jerner and I found the grain and returned it to Ninago. Moonago gave us another task but that one has to wait. We did go on a hunt to find some Ebon Wood for Santo. Along the way we met with this, I don't what you would call him, Performing Warrior-Lumberjack, by the name of Trex. If his music is anything like his fighting skill, it must be a great show. He helped us trudge our way through the Lizard Folk and Ogres. Thanks to him Jerner got the wood. We now have all parted ways at Fort Hope, Jerner to meditate, Trex to party with Nica in the Inn and myself, have just tended to my wounds and am going to take a long sleep. I'm a bit sore from the pounding of the ogres. *blows out candle*

Wipes the dust off of his journal

It has been forever since I wrote, nothing much to speak of I guess. Just have been patrolling the surrounding lands of Ninago. Pesky Orc and Giants you know. Today though I ran into Arabella while in Tanamerah. I can not even recall the last time I have seen her, she did not look like she aged a bit. Must be an Elf thing. She was with a friend of hers, Vala. She was showing off her new Blade and suggested we go try it on some of the evil folk. I guess they need to be checked from time to time so they don't rise up and attack Sandow. We went on our way and Arabella was playful as always, disappearing in front of our eyes and then just appearing again. The lizards fell rather easily until we got further up the river. Vala fell manytimes, not sure why, if it was because we were too careless and $%@#! or something else. Once we made our way up the river, we ran into a foe I have never really encountered, Trolls. We were hesitant at first, but we took on the challenge. The first one fell pretty easily, then we went on to the second. The next thing I remember was being woken to "Blessed Day". Apparently we all had fallen due to the Troll and as fate would have it, Arhim was in the area and revived us. The three of us thanked him, and still running on the thrill of battle, decided to hunt that last troll. I don't recall a battle, but here I am, in an unfamiliar robe at the Inn of the Comfortable Saddle. My armor is polished and undented as well as my shield, my bow has been restrung and my blade sharpened. So I should count my blessings. I think I will end here and hit the casino before I check out and head back to Ninago.

*pulls a leather bound book out of his pack and begins writing*

This is my grandfather's journal, I hope , and now it comes time for me to continue.

Here I sit around the fire, roasting some bear in the South East plains of Ninago. We decided on going Saladari hunting, I've had enough undead for a while. I do have other priorites that I needed to tidy up but oh well, Jerner twisted my arm. We stayed above ground, as it has been a long while since we engaged such creatures, so we didn't want to bite off more then we could chew. Also Jerner seemed to be very distracted, so here we are at camp again, which actually, I'm pretty beat myself.

*places journal and quill away and crawls into his tent*

*thinks to self* Eh, I'm not much of a writer.

Justan Krown II, the Steward of Fort Hope, grandson of Justan Krown I, patiently awaits the arrival of the Tanamerah Adventurer Society. His family friend Arhim Nocdane, offered to fund a group for him to help him track down an Orc Camp that he thinks is close by.

"I will have a water and whiskey Mark", Justan nods to the bartender.

Mark, head bartender of Pub Kazorn, lines up 3 shot glasses and a bottle of wiskey. "Water is on the house Steward", Mark Smiles.

Anya comes over, takes a shot glass, "Bottoms up Sugar."

Mark takes his shot followed by Justan. "Oh what the hell, no one will probably show up anyway!", Justan moans. Anya kisses his cheek and rubs his shoulders, "Justan, it will be fine." She then goes back to work. Mark pours his another shot and smiles, "Bottoms Up Sugar!". Justan laughs, and takes his shot.

Jerner the Cleric of Alahna, Leona the Sorceress, Jinxy, Fade Le'lisent the Faithful enter the Pub, the smell of might and auroas of magic radiate from this group. Justan offers to buy drinks them.

Justan sits by the East Gate waiting for the Society to show up. He hold a journal, it's his Grand Father's journal. He has always been told he was just like his grandfather. Those are large shoes to fill, he thinks, as he writes.

Good to see my old friend Jerner. His friend Jinxy seems nice enough. The other two. The woman with the pink glowing eyes, I think she is an elf, but not one I have ever seen before. And that women, she is so beautiful and naughty. Blood thristy she is, strong and beautiful, so attractive. Leona.

She stands before him, he tries to hide his embarrassment. Journal and quill away. He stands and away they go.

11/21/2739

Justan sits and has breakfast. He has a simple tea, an egg, some fruit and crackers. Oh and some oddly pig part that is fried ...

The cook said it was bacon, its delcious!

What was it? Was it an Orc or a mutilated man?

Shops are closing, the Grimalkin are gone. Guardians of Stoneheim their door has been sealed shut for years, long before my birth. Dewy's is failing. The Inn is doing great and I think I might be the only customer of the Pub these days. Its an agreement with my family. My grandfather, Justan Krown I, was old war buddies with this guy Core. See Core is one of them liberators of the fort hope, of back in the day. Anyway, there was a fund setup by the King and Queen and Justan was the custodian of the funds, sole purpose, to make sure Pub Kazorn stays open. Pretty neat I think. I'm still their biggest patron regardless of the trust.

He puts away his writings and pulls something out of his pack. Justan looks at a bar of Mithral that he purchased from Goili. He looks over the agreement he signed and smiles.

"I think I over paid", Justan thinks.

If it is not one thing then its another. I have Orc attacks that are growing, the Grimalkin are gone, people and businesses are closing, there is a greater threat rumored to be happening. Talks of wizards mixing man and orc to raise an army to take back Fort Hope as their own Orc Outpost.

I had to check out this latest threat of rumored dragon like creatures, frost giants and some evil temple in the mountains. I sure do hope that these are just rumors, though based on the gathering I am seeing in Port Smith, I don't think so. Moge please watch over us.

Justan dismounts his horse.

Greetings Aramus, Jinxy, and Rin'kana!
